Our understanding

What the show has to do

You asked for three levels of production (stripped-back, mid-range and full) and for both filming routes: our studio and NCB's own spaces. Both are priced below, along with the blend we recommend.

Your host: Sheree Martin, President and CEO, National Commercial Bank Jamaica

Primary goal

Help NCB's people know and trust their new President & CEO. It should feel like a conversation between friends and leaders, not an advertisement or a corporate address.

Primary audience

NCB employees, through the atrium screens, Teams, Toast, WhatsApp and NCB's closed YouTube group.

Secondary use

Selected clips for NCB's social channels, chosen by NCB's brand and marketing team.

Non-negotiable

Authenticity. Staff know Sheree's cadence and candour, and the production has to protect it.

Why now

Why staff will watch, and why it will travel

A story people want

NCB's first woman CEO, new in the role. Staff want to know who she is and how she thinks, and many people are glad to see a woman lead the bank. This lets them meet her properly.

Made for how staff watch

Every episode plays on the atrium screens, Teams, Toast, WhatsApp and the closed YouTube group, with 35 captioned clips for phones and My Question for NCB to bring staff into the show.

The Chairman travels

As your team said on our call, the conversation with Hon. Michael Lee-Chin has global appeal. Clips of the two of them for NCB's 190th can reach well beyond the bank, and at Premiere there is an external cut and trailer for NCB to share.

The moment is now

Episode 1 lands on 5 November, early in Sheree's tenure, and The Legacy marks NCB's 190th anniversary. A first season now sets the tone for the next one.

For your CEO

The case in one minute

  • Goal: NCB's people get to know their new President & CEO through six warm, unscripted conversations.
  • Why now: Episode 1 can launch on Thursday 5 November, and Episode 5 with Hon. Michael Lee-Chin marks NCB's 190th anniversary.
  • What staff get: six episodes, 35 captioned clips for phones, a launch week, and My Question for NCB, which brings staff questions into the show.
  • Sheree's time: three Saturdays in October on the recommended route (two if all five series episodes are in our studio), plus a date for Episode 5 set with the chairman's office. Prompts, never a script.
  • Investment: J$14,321,698 before GCT for all six episodes (Signature, recommended route), J$2,532,406 less than filming everything at NCB.
  • How we'll know it worked: we measure it together with NCB: views and completion, clip shares, staff questions and one pulse question, on a shared results page both teams can watch.
  • Budget: open and flexible. Once we're talking, we'll shape a budget that works for NCB and help with each decision.
  • Decision needed: route and tier by Tuesday 6 October.

In every episode

My Question for NCB

Every guest leaves one question for the organisation. We cut each as its own clip so staff can respond, and staff answers, filmed by NCB as vox pops, can feature from Episode 2.

Release cadence: one release a month from 5 November, as Sheree asked. Episode 5 is released in two parts. If NCB splits other long conversations in two, one part a month stretches the season towards 12 months.

Four questions we would ask you in the room. Tap one to answer it in Your thoughts; it goes straight to Craig.

Creative approach

A conversation between friends

The look follows the style you preferred, Aspire with Emma Grede, rather than The Diary of a CEO: lounge chairs, no table between them (Episode 4 is a roundtable), and Sheree seen in full, with her posture, her style and how she reacts. We carry it into every episode, in our studio and at NCB.

  • Set: lounge chairs angled toward each other (three for Episodes 1–3, which each have two guests), a low side table, a rug, plants and warm wood. Episode 6 uses a sofa with stools behind it.
  • Framing: a wide that shows each person in full, shoes and all, with close-ups for the moments that matter. Nothing cuts anyone off at the waist.
  • Same look at NCB: the episode filmed in the atrium uses the same lighting, framing and grade as the studio episodes, so it sits naturally beside them.
  • Personal touches: an In Good Company cup, talking cards and the books Sheree is reading. Mics sit on floor stands with branded flags, so nothing blocks the frame.
  • Prompting, not scripting: the teleprompter carries thematic buckets and keynotes only, never a script. NCB leads Sheree's preparation.
  • Running time: we record about 45 minutes of conversation for every 30 released. With Sheree's intro and Lessons segment, each episode takes about 75 minutes on set.
  • Attention-span test: before NCB locks episode length, we cut a 5-minute version of Episode 1 for an internal test. Included at Signature and Premiere; J$272,000 at Essential.

The set wall

A wall that carries the show

The wall behind Sheree is where the show's name lives on camera. At NCB it is a physical set piece on the atrium floor. In our studio the same design is built into the virtual background, or can stand as a real piece in front of it. Pick the design, or mix them by episode.

  • Where it lives: on location each design is a freestanding set piece in the atrium; in our studio it becomes part of the virtual NCB background. The Legacy plaque is made for the chandelier room.
  • What is included: at Signature and Premiere the In Good Company title wall is built into the studio background, and built for real if everything is filmed at NCB. The branded screen comes with Premiere. The other designs we will quote.
  • Logos: NCB's logo is shown here for placement only. Final artwork comes from NCB's brand files, with Group Marketing & Communications' approval.

Three cameras, every reaction covered

Every tier has three Netflix-approved 6K cinema cameras: a wide, one on Sheree and one on her guests. We switch live and record every camera separately, so the edit can reframe and rebalance voices. Premiere adds a fourth, roaming camera.

The Legacy

NCB's first woman CEO in conversation with the Chairman of NCB Financial Group, to mark NCB's 190th anniversary.

This episode gets its own Saturday and its own budget line in every route and tier, with a cinematic treatment at Signature and Premiere. We'll set the date with the chairman's office; it doesn't need to follow the episode order, so it can open the anniversary year if NCB prefers.

AI concept loops, not real footage. Sheree Martin and Hon. Michael Lee-Chin are AI likenesses based on their official portraits; everyone else is fictional.

  • Look: at Signature and Premiere, a warmer, more cinematic grade and more camera movement than the series episodes. Premiere adds a Steadicam operator, a focus puller and a fourth camera.
  • Two versions: the internal episode and, at Premiere, an external 190th-anniversary cut with a trailer for NCB's brand team to use publicly.
  • 10 social edits from Episode 5 at every tier, twice the number for the other episodes.
Distribution and staff engagement

Beyond the episodes

Six strong conversations are the core. These pieces get staff talking about the show before, during and after launch. Most are already in the tiers.

A launch week, not just a link

In the week before 5 November, the teaser loops on the atrium screens and goes out to phones. It is included at Signature and Premiere, and costs J$135,000 at Essential. On launch day, Sheree can introduce Episode 1 at a short screening in the atrium, streamed to branches on Teams. NCB's events team may prefer to host it; if you'd like us to run the screens, sound and stream, we will quote once the format is set.

Vertical clip: launch teaser Vertical clip: Lessons from the Journey Vertical clip: My Question for NCB

Built for phones

Every episode comes with vertical, captioned clips: a short episode promo, Sheree's Lessons from the Journey and each guest's My Question for NCB. That is 5 edits an episode and 10 from Episode 5, at every tier, and more at J$34,000 each.

My Question for NCB becomes a loop: the guest asks, staff answer on their phones, and the best answers appear in the next episode.

One look for the whole season

Title cards, thumbnails and lower thirds share one palette, typeface and set world, so every release is recognisably In Good Company in a feed or on the atrium screens. The cup, talking cards and mic flags carry the same identity on set. Their artwork is in every tier; at Signature and Premiere we make the props too, and they stay with NCB.

Every channel, the day it's approved

A horizontal master for the atrium screens, Teams, Toast and the closed YouTube group, plus mobile-friendly files for WhatsApp. Chapters at Signature and Premiere.

The Legacy beyond staff

At Premiere, Episode 5 also gets an external cut and a trailer, so NCB can share Hon. Michael Lee-Chin's conversation with Sheree for the 190th anniversary.

YouTube

YouTube, inside NCB and beyond

The closed YouTube group is where staff watch. With NCB's approval, the best moments can also reach the public, the diaspora and the Chairman's audience abroad.

Inside NCB

  • Built to keep people watching: chapters at Signature and Premiere, a thumbnail in the series look and a playlist, so one episode leads into the next.
  • Two parts where it helps: long conversations can be released in two parts, which holds attention and gives staff two moments to talk about.
  • Clips for phones: the vertical clips work as YouTube Shorts as well as on WhatsApp and Teams.
  • A launch-day watch party: Episode 1 goes live at a set time, so staff watch together, in the atrium and online.

Beyond NCB, with your approval

  • Shorts on NCB's public channel: Lessons from the Journey and the moments NCB's brand team picks, captioned and cut for Shorts.
  • The Legacy for the 190th: at Premiere, the external cut launches as a YouTube Premiere, with its trailer a week ahead.
  • Reach the diaspora: a paid YouTube campaign in Jamaica and to Jamaicans in the US, Canada and the UK, where Mr Lee-Chin is well known.
  • Found in search: titles, descriptions and end screens that point people back to NCB.

YouTube promotion is optional. We quote it as one line, sized to the reach you want, and report the results on the shared results page.

How you'll know it worked

We measure it together. Before launch we agree a few simple measures with you. After each release NCB shares the figures from its own channels, and we put them on one shared results page both teams can watch, so we can see what staff respond to and shape the next episode around it.

  • Reach and finish: views, and how far people watch, on Teams and NCB's YouTube group, for each episode and clip.
  • Conversation: staff answers to My Question for NCB, and which clips staff share.
  • Sentiment: one pulse question to staff before Episode 1 and after Episode 6, such as "I feel I know our CEO".
  • A test before we lock it: the 5-minute test cut, shown to a small group of staff, sets the running time.

One thing for NCB IT: staff will want to watch from home, so the closed YouTube group needs to allow staff access outside the office.

How the studio keeps NCB's sense of place, step by step: How virtual production works.

What filming at NCB involves

  • Sound: glass and stone echo. At Signature and Premiere we build a three-sided "room within a room": wood-slat panels behind the chairs, acoustic panels at the sides and a rug underneath. At Essential we use sound blankets and a rug around NCB's own furniture. Every tier records broadcast mics, with lapel mics as backup.
  • Light: soft key, fill and backlight for each person, with daylight through the glass controlled so the look holds as the sun moves.
  • Building: Saturday access and security, power circuits, and HVAC, announcements and lift chimes paused while we record, agreed with NCB facilities in advance.
  • Time: about 3 hours to build and light, about an hour to reset between episodes and about 2 hours to strike. Two episodes a day is the realistic maximum.
In our studio, step by step

How virtual production works

Everything in front of the camera is real: Sheree, her guests, the chairs, the rug, the cups. Only the background is virtual, and the background is NCB, filmed in your own building. Our keyer puts it behind them live, so everyone sees the finished picture while we record.

    1 · Half a day at NCB

    We film NCB's spaces

On a quiet Saturday or after banking hours we film each background for about 8 minutes per camera angle, logging the lens, height and where the daylight falls.

  2. The Adtelligent Studios stage with blue screen and lighting rig
    2 · The day before

    We dress the real foreground

Chairs, rug, tables, plants and NCB-branded cups and mic flags go on our pre-lit stage. At Signature and Premiere, the In Good Company title wall is built into the background.

3 · Live, on every take

The keyer puts NCB behind them

Our Ultimatte 12 4K keyer and live switcher place each camera's matched NCB background in real time, so Sheree, the guests and the director see the finished picture on the monitors.

  4. Two people seated in conversation on a virtual living-room set
    4 · Studio shoot days

We film up to three conversations a day

Three 6K cinema cameras and broadcast mics in a soundproofed room. Between episodes we change the background in minutes; nothing is moved and nothing echoes.

  5. In Good Company episode title card
    5 · Edit and deliver

    We cut each episode

Graded, mixed and titled, with 5 social edits from every episode and 10 from the Lee-Chin episode.

  6. Why it costs less

    Nothing travels

The stage, cameras and lights stay rigged, and most of the set is virtual, so the studio episodes need no truck, no daily set-up and take-down and no building costs at NCB. At Signature the recommended route saves J$2,532,406 against filming everything at NCB; all five series episodes in our studio save J$4,071,947.

  • Stage: a 25 ft × 20 ft pre-lit cyclorama with green and blue screen.
  • Sound and control: a double-sealed, double-door soundproofed room and a sound-dampened control room.
  • Every camera is matched. We record one background per camera angle and light the set from the same direction as NCB's daylight, so eyelines, horizons and shadows line up. Each background runs long enough to loop invisibly, with natural movement in it.

Estimates, open to discussion. Prices may go up or down as details are confirmed after we walk the spaces with NCB facilities: the level of set design and lighting, how much we move and set up each day, and the size of the crew. We are happy to negotiate, pass savings on to NCB and adjust once we have talked.

  • No separate management fee. Coordination, account management and transport are built into each line.
  • Social edits at every tier: 5 vertical, captioned edits per episode and 10 from Episode 5, 35 in total. More at J$34,000 each; extra clips cost less because they're cut from an episode that is already edited and captioned.
  • In every tier: three Netflix-approved 6K cinema cameras with live switching and separate recording of each camera, broadcast sound, a teleprompter for thematic prompts, hair and makeup, and both signature segments.
Studio or NCB · what you save

The real NCB where it matters. Our studio where it saves.

We recommend filming the four guest conversations in our studio, on backgrounds filmed inside NCB, and the two episodes that belong in the building, the Chairman's conversation and the football team, in NCB's own spaces. At Signature that is J$14,321,698 before GCT, J$2,532,406 (15%) less than filming everything at NCB. If price matters most, filming Episode 6 in our studio too brings the season to J$12,782,157, J$4,071,947 (24%) less. Same crew, cameras, tier and episodes either way.

All at NCB, before GCT
J$22,822,713average J$3,803,786 an episode
  • How the percentage works: the saving divided by the all-at-NCB price for the same tier. Recommended route: J$1,889,406 of J$13,375,104 is 14% (Essential), J$2,532,406 of J$16,854,104 is 15% (Signature) and J$3,060,406 of J$22,822,713 is 13% (Premiere). All in our studio: 24%, 24% and 22%.
  • Why the saving in money grows with the tier: part of it (fewer shoot days at NCB, the studio saving and no location lighting) is much the same at every tier. The rest grows because a bigger set, more lighting and more crew all have to be moved and set up at NCB every day, while in our studio they stay put.
  • Why Premiere's percentage is a little lower: Premiere adds pieces that cost the same wherever we film (the Lessons recreations, speaker summaries and the extra Episode 5 work), so the share saved is lower even though the amount saved is the highest.
  • Averages per episode divide the season by six, with Episode 5 included.

Estimates now, one agreed price after the walk-through. Once we have walked the spaces with NCB facilities, we confirm one price for the agreed scope, and after that it changes only by a written change order you approve. Until then prices may go up or down as details are confirmed, and we are happy to negotiate, pass savings on to NCB and adjust once we have talked.

Line by line: where the saving comes from

To show every line that changes, this table sets all five series episodes in our studio against filming everything at NCB. The recommended route sits between the two: Episode 6 in the atrium adds J$1,539,541 at Signature. Pick a tier. Lines marked Same cost the same wherever we film.

The recommended route, Episodes 1–4 in our studio and Episode 6 at NCB, saves J$1,889,406 (Essential), J$2,532,406 (Signature) or J$3,060,406 (Premiere) against filming everything at NCB.

  • Calmer days for Sheree. No waiting for set-up, no lift chimes and fewer retakes. All in our studio, the five series episodes fit into two days instead of three.
  • Nothing moves. Our virtual production stage, cameras and lights stay rigged, so there is no truck, no daily set-up and take-down, and every hour on set is spent filming.
  • Most of the set is virtual. The title wall and NCB's spaces are built into the backgrounds, so only the chairs, rug, tables and props are physical.
  • Pre-lit and soundproofed. No lighting to bring in, and no announcements, lift chimes or sun moving across the glass, so fewer retakes and resets.
  • NCB's sense of place stays. The studio backgrounds are filmed inside NCB, so the studio episodes still look and feel like NCB.

  • Episode 5, with Hon. Michael Lee-Chin, is in every figure. It is priced at J$2,769,747 (Essential), J$3,152,747 (Signature) or J$3,845,747 (Premiere), including its 10 social edits, and can be bought at a higher tier than the rest of the season. Its share of hair and makeup and set rigging sits in those lines.
  • A series costs less per episode. Planning, set-up, graphics and edit templates are shared, so each episode after the first takes less time to prepare and cut.
  • Episodes can move between routes. Any episode can switch between the studio and NCB; we'll reprice it on request. Each extra day at NCB adds transport, rigging and set costs, so moving an episode onto an NCB day that is already booked costs least.

Production schedule

From yes to launch in a month

Episode 1 can launch on Thursday 5 November if NCB confirms the route and tier by Tuesday 6 October. A letter of intent holds the dates while the PO is raised, and pre-production starts the same day.

  • Episode 5 gets its own Saturday, on its own edit track (about two weeks plus approvals), so it never holds up the launch.
  • The timeline is shown for the recommended route: Episodes 1–4 in our studio and Episode 6 at NCB on 24 October. All in our studio, at three episodes a day, Episodes 1–4 and 6 fit into 10 and 17 October.
  • Approvals: we assume NCB's consolidated feedback within three working days per cut, with two rounds.
  • After launch: one release a month, as Sheree asked. Staff answers to My Question for NCB can feature from Episode 2.
  1. Call and studio visit: 30 minutes on the routes and tiers, then an hour at our studio to see the set live
  2. Route, tier and Episode 1–2 guests confirmed; a letter of intent holds the dates
  3. Walk-through with NCB facilities; NCB backgrounds filmed after hours
  4. Shoot: Episodes 1 and 2, with Sheree's intros and Lessons segments for both
  5. Shoot: Episodes 3 and 4
  6. National Heroes Day
  7. Episode 1 first cut
  8. Shoot: Episode 6, plus pick-ups and teaser lines
  9. Episode 1 second cut
  10. Episode 1 sign-off
  11. Final files to NCB comms
  12. Launch: Episode 1
What we need from NCB

To hold 10 October and 5 November

  1. Route and tier by Tuesday 6 October, to hold the 10 October shoot and the 5 November launch.
  2. Guest confirmations: names and titles for the Episode 3 GiftMe guests, and whether Episode 1 adds a guest from payments.
  3. Episode 6 details: the players taking part, the division name and result, and any match photos or video.
  4. Episode 5 date from the chairman's office, any 190th-anniversary branding to carry, and whether to invite a small audience.
  5. Building access: Saturday access, security, power, and HVAC, announcements and lift chimes paused while we record (Episode 5 on every route; Episode 6 on Route C; every episode on Route B), a short after-hours window to film backgrounds (Routes A and C), and a walk-through of the five spaces with NCB facilities.
  6. One approver, with consolidated feedback within three working days for each of the two rounds per cut.
Terms
  • Prices are in Jamaican dollars and exclude GCT at 15% unless marked.
  • Prices are estimates and may change, up or down, as details are confirmed. We are happy to negotiate, pass savings on to NCB and adjust once we have talked. Once we have walked the spaces, we confirm one price for the agreed scope; after that, changes are made only by written change order.
  • This proposal is dated 2 October 2026 and is valid for 30 days.
  • Payment terms: we propose 40% on signing, to book the crew, studio and dates; 30% after the October shoots; and 30% on delivery of Episodes 1–4 and 6, with Episode 5 invoiced on delivery. We are happy to agree a schedule that suits NCB's procurement.
  • Rescheduling: a shoot day moved with less than 72 hours' notice is charged at cost for crew and equipment already booked.
  • Two rounds of changes per cut are included.
  • Ownership and usage: NCB owns the finished episodes, clips and graphics once paid in full, for internal and public use. We keep the raw footage securely for 12 months, then hand it to NCB or delete it on request. We don't use any footage, or the likenesses in this proposal, in our own promotion without NCB's written approval, and we treat everything filmed as confidential. Licensed library music for the agreed uses is included. Third-party footage is cleared through the guest or rights-holder; any licence fees are passed through at cost, with NCB's approval first.
Next step

A short call to walk through the routes and tiers, then an hour at our studio to see the set live.

We are open and flexible. Once we are talking, we will shape a budget that works for NCB and help you make each decision.
