For Jodianna Clarke, Roland Henry and Tajhera Ragoo, National Commercial Bank Jamaica, following your note of 2 October

In Good Company with Sheree Martin · Season 1

We heard you.

We simplified the production, not the show. The same six conversations, three ways to make them.

What stays the same

The same six conversations

The line-up, the warmth and Sheree's own voice stay exactly as planned. Each episode runs 30–45 minutes; Episode 5 runs up to an hour and is released in two parts.

In every episode

Lessons from the Journey

About five minutes. Sheree shares one defining moment from her career and the practical lesson she took from it.

In every episode

My Question for NCB

Every guest leaves one question for the organisation. The best questions become clips, so staff can answer them on their phones.

Release cadence: one release a month from 5 November, as Sheree asked. Episode 5 is released in two parts. If NCB splits other long conversations in two, one part a month stretches the season towards 12 months.

How we keep it simple

Simpler production, the same show

What makes the show work is Sheree and her guests. We spend where staff will notice it, and keep everything else simple.

One camera, three shots

In our studio, one 4K cinema camera holds a wide of everyone in full, and we cut in closer shots from the same picture. A second camera can be added. At NCB we use two. See it below.

Recorded straight to our server

Studio episodes record directly to our server as lightly compressed 4K, so there is less to store and move. The edit can cut closer shots from the 4K picture, and a 4K master can be added.

A real set, simply dressed

Lounge chairs, a rug, plants, warm lamps and an In Good Company sign. In our studio it sits in front of an NCB background; in Option 2 we dress a room at NCB; in Option 3 NCB dresses its own room.

Light that flatters

Soft light on every face, with NCB blue and a warm accent on the background, never on people.

A small, experienced crew

In Options 1 and 2: a director of photography, a camera and sound operator, a producer on the floor and a makeup artist (full face for Sheree, light makeup for everyone else). In Option 3: a crew of three, with our editor switching the cameras live.

The conversation comes first

Cutting between shots carries the edit. In Options 1 and 2 we tidy the pace and add an intro, names and captions; in Option 3 each episode comes back as filmed, trimmed only for ums and long pauses, with a branded overlay.

See it

One camera, a wide and two close-ups

In our studio, one 4K camera frames everyone in full. Because the picture is 4K, the edit can cut in close on Sheree or on her guests and still deliver sharp full HD. Press the buttons, or let it switch on its own.

The small frame in the corner shows the whole picture. The gold box is the part the edit uses. Both close-ups come from that one camera. A second camera can be added if the budget allows.

Three options

Three ways to make Season 1

Option 3 · Lowest cost

Essentials at NCB

J$2,626,000before GCT, all six episodes
J$3,019,900 with GCT at 15% · average J$437,667 an episode before GCT

About J$503,000 an episode with GCT. NCB dresses its own room and arranges makeup; we film with two cameras switched live and return each episode as filmed, trimmed only for ums and long pauses, with one branded overlay and three clips an episode.

  • Planning: run sheet and call times; NCB books the guests127,000
  • Two Saturdays at NCB, three episodes a day: two cinema cameras switched live on site, a lighting kit and a lapel mic on everyone. NCB dresses the room and does makeup1,095,000
  • One branded overlay: frame, logo and name titles81,000
  • Each episode returned as filmed live, trimmed only for ums and long pauses, with the overlay; one round of small fixes; full HD539,000
  • 18 clips for phones (3 an episode), cut straight from the episode with the overlay612,000
  • Delivery for every channel, and the footage kept safe for 12 months172,000
  • Season total, before GCTJ$2,626,000

Why the studio costs less: Options 1 and 2 are the same show. At NCB we pay for transport, setting up and taking down each day, a lighting kit and set pieces; in our studio the lights stay rigged and the set is already there. That is J$590,000 less in our studio.

The Legacy: in Option 1 Mr Lee-Chin films in our studio, or at NCB for J$647,000 more. In Options 2 and 3 it is the first conversation on 24 October at NCB; if another date suits the chairman better, we film it on its own date for J$647,000 more.

Our full proposal, with three cameras, built sets and more episodes filmed on location, is still available.See the full proposal ↗

    Production schedule

    Still on for 5 November

With an option, or a budget, by Friday 9 October, Episode 1 can still launch on Thursday 5 November. A letter of intent holds the dates while the PO is raised.

    • Two Saturdays, 17 and 24 October, three conversations each, in every option, with The Legacy first on 24 October.
    • Option 2 needs the room on the Friday evening before the first Saturday, so we can set up quietly and start on time. Option 3 needs the room dressed by NCB before 7:00 on each Saturday.
    • Approvals: we assume NCB's consolidated feedback within three working days, with two rounds of changes per episode in Options 1 and 2, and one round of small fixes in Option 3.
    • After launch: one release a month, as Sheree asked.
    1. A short call on the options, and a look at the set: at our studio, or the room at NCB
    2. Your option, and the guests for Episodes 1–3, confirmed; a letter of intent holds the dates
    3. Run sheets and questions agreed with NCB; Option 1's NCB background filmed after hours; Option 2's set built in the room on Friday evening
    4. Filming: Episodes 1, 2 and 3, with Sheree's intros and Lessons segments
    5. National Heroes Day
    6. Episode 1 first cut
    7. Filming: The Legacy first, then Episodes 4 and 6
    8. NCB's changes to Episode 1, consolidated
    9. Episode 1 revised cut
    10. Episode 1 sign-off
    11. Final files to NCB comms
    12. Launch: Episode 1
    What we need from NCB

To hold 17 October and 5 November

    1. Your option, or your budget, by Friday 9 October. If none of them fits, a figure is enough and we'll design the season around it.
    2. Guest confirmations: the Episode 3 guests from GiftMe and their titles, and whether Episode 1 adds a guest from payments.
    3. Episode 6 details: the players taking part, the division name and result, and any match photos or video.
    4. The Legacy: a slot from the chairman's office, first thing on 24 October, and any 190th-anniversary branding to carry.
    5. Option 1: a short after-hours window to film one NCB background, and food and drink for the studio days (or we arrange it at cost).
    6. Option 2: a room of about 6 × 5 m with a 2.7 m ceiling on both Saturdays and the Friday evening before, lockable storage nearby, air conditioning we can turn down while recording, a facilities contact, food and drink, and NCB's own chairs. Episode 6's team may need a larger room, such as the boardroom.
    7. Option 3: the same room, dressed by NCB with its own furniture, makeup for Sheree and the guests, power, quiet, and food and drink.
    8. One approver, with consolidated feedback within three working days for each round.
    Terms

    The terms, in brief

These apply to all three options, unless an option is named.

    Prices
In Jamaican dollars, before GCT at 15% unless marked, and valid for 30 days from 2 October 2026. These options simplify our proposal of the same day, which is still available.
    One agreed price
Prices are estimates and may move up or down as details are confirmed. Once the option and guests are set, we confirm one price for the agreed scope. After that, changes are made only by written change order.
    Payment
We propose 40% on signing, to book the crew, studio and dates; 30% after the October filming; and 30% on delivery. We're happy to agree a schedule that suits NCB's procurement.
    Rounds of changes
Two rounds per episode in Options 1 and 2. One round of small fixes in Option 3.
    Rescheduling
A filming day moved with less than 72 hours' notice is charged at cost for the crew and equipment already booked.
    Ownership
NCB owns the finished episodes, clips and graphics once paid in full, for internal and public use.
    Footage and confidentiality
We keep the raw footage securely for 12 months, then hand it to NCB or delete it on request. Everything filmed is confidential, and we don't use any footage, or the likenesses in this proposal, in our own promotion without NCB's written approval.
    Music and stock footage
In Options 1 and 2, licensed library music and limited B-roll, from free-licence stock or footage NCB supplies, are included for the agreed uses.
    Next step

A short call to walk through the three options. Or tell us your number, and we'll shape Season 1 around it.

We'd love to make this show with you, at a budget that works for NCB.
